White House Easter Egg Roll 2007

Despite a political environment that continues to be hostile to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people and their families, Family Pride again brought diverse families to the largest public family event of its kind in the United States: The White House Easter Egg Roll.

The event was held on Monday, April 9, 2007 on the South Lawn of The White House. Family Pride Executive Director Jennifer Chrisler promises that LGBT families “will again be a visible part of the total American family.”
